Bill is a 55-year-old man with type 2 diabetes. He is a new patient at your practice, having just moved into the area to be closer to family. This case study covers diabetes management, diabetes foot care, and renal impairment.

Based on Quality Use of Medicines principles, these modules will support you in selecting the most appropriate treatment in consultation with your patient, and assisting your patients in using their medicines safely and wisely.
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

These course learning objectives will be explored through the patient Bill, a 55 year old man with type 2 diabetes. The patient journey continues over 6 years.
