NPS MedicineWise welcomes three new directors with broad skills and experience

Three new non-executive directors have been appointed to the NPS MedicineWise board, bringing a broad range of skills including in digital health and innovation, public sector governance, strategic and financial experience, as well as extensive experience from a range of sectors.

NPS MedicineWise chair Dr Andrew Knight welcomed the appointment of Adj Prof Mark Booth, Mr Rob Fitzpatrick and Dr Amandeep Hansra, effective 15 February 2021.

“The appointments of these three new directors contributes to our intention of having a contemporary board with the right skill set to ensure future sustainability and impact of NPS MedicineWise, and to help us meet the challenges of a constantly evolving environment,” said Dr Knight.

“I look forward to welcoming Adj Prof Mark Booth, who brings his experience in strategic policy issues in the health sector, having worked in the public, private and academic sectors in the UK, New Zealand, Australia and the USA, Mr Rob Fitzpatrick, with his strategic background and expertise in technology, innovation and growth, and Dr Amandeep Hansra, a practising GP who is also a national expert in in digital health,” he said.
