Dr Anna Samecki
Dr Anna Samecki is a general practitioner (GP) with a special interest in medical education. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and works across a number of settings as a medical advisor, medical educator and medical writer. She continues to teach medical students at the University of Notre Dame (School of Medicine) and also works as a Clinical Editor for HealthPathways Sydney.
She holds a Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education (HPE) and is currently completing her Masters of HPE.
Nerida Packham
Nerida Packham is the NPS MedicineWise Consumer Medicine Information Team Manager, coordinating delivery of the Medicines Line and Adverse Medicine Events Line services.
She is a pharmacist and qualified health coach. Nerida has a background in hospital and community pharmacy and has a strong interest in preventative health care. She understands the importance of providing evidence-based information to consumers regarding medicines and encouraging the quality use of medicines.
Sarah Spagnardi
Sarah brings a mix of clinical and managerial experience to her role as Channel Delivery Services Manager at NPS MedicineWise. She is a registered pharmacist who has practised in variety of settings including community pharmacy, aged care consulting and Medicines Information.
She has a strong interest in ensuring that consumers can access medicines information in a way that they can use it to make the best decisions for their health, and which supports beneficial conversations with their health care professionals.
Rawa Osman
Rawa is a Senior Clinical Program Officer (Clinical Lead) at NPS MedicineWise, leading the national programs on opioids and pain. In this role, she leads the design, build and delivery of NPS MedicineWise programs and also supports the development and implementation of Choosing Wisely Australia.
Rawa has experience in numerous roles in the healthcare sector spanning pharmacy practice in hospital and community settings, industry and research. She has great interest in quality improvement programs and is passionate about promoting quality use of medicines and optimising health outcomes for all Australians.
Kara Joyce
Kara Joyce is a clinical project officer at NPS MedicineWise. Over the past 4 years Kara has also been part of the national field force delivering NPS MedicineWise education programs to GPs, nurses and pharmacists.
She is an accredited pharmacist who has a special interest in dementia care & over 15 years experience working in community pharmacy.
Dr Robyn Lindner
Dr Robyn Lindner is Partnerships and Stakeholder Relationship Manager at NPS MedicineWise and program manager for Choosing Wisely Australia - a national, collaborative initiative that encourages important conversations about healthcare.
Robyn has a PhD in Biochemistry and over 15 years’ experience working in senior management roles in the health and biotechnology sectors.
